These slippers are worth every penny, even though I considered them to be a bit pricey since I was buying them sight unseen. Everything turned out just right: the fit was as expected and standard; the generous size of the toe box; the mid-height of "shoe mustache" (the back of the shoe that surrounds the heel/ankle) for easy on/off, while also keeping it in your foot when walking; cups my heel nicely; the decent flexibility of the sole; the amount of countouring (without excessive cushioning) inside the slipper itself (I found this helpful for my sports injury I have in my forefoot and all compensating areas); being able to replace the insoles if need be (high arch people will probably need to do this for this slipper); the material being warm but also nicely breathable; the style/colour being more pleasingly unisex rather than ultra-feminine like most other women's slippers (not a bad thing, it's just overtly feminine styles are the majority of options out there and it never happens to coincide with my preferences)You can stop here if you feel that was helpful enough. I just wanted to add this bit of personal two cents if you are having trouble finding slippers with proper support:I busted my butt on trying to find slippers that would help me heal from a running injury (sprain plus Morton's Neuroma). These weren't the first slippers I got, and I'm kicking myself that they weren't. I wasted money on cheaper slippers that should have been priced 3x less, considering the lack of quality and foot support they provided (Rockdove brand was the culprit, if you are curious). A lot of more affordable slippers boast having support and they usually don't (memory foam is NOT support!) If you take anything away from my review: don't waste your money, just treat yourself to good quality brand slippers. Even after my injury, I feel these will continue to being my feet at home. I feel that these are the real deal for a proper functional yet good-looking slipper. Additionally: I have one pair of keen sandals that have lasted me since 2002 and still going, but never considered trying their other shoes for some reason?! It was only when I was struggling to find a slipper that I looked in their brand's direction. I don't doubt the durability on that front-- these will probably not be the last pair of keens I get, especially how impressed I am with these new slippers.
